Got the carbs sorted last night and the loom lashed on and all connected up round the front. If I wasn't going away for a few days today it would possibly be in a state to fire up. In a mocked up, lashed up kind of state

The coolant pipe can be a bit of an arse.
Reassembled mine not long ago with a new O-ring and it still leaked (but then sorted itself out).
The head (and the pipe) get badly corroded within the pocket where the seal sits and the seal surfaces become pitted.
A dollop of Yamabond sealant with a new seal should be good.

That's the fella, about 1" diameter. Seems to have cut itself when pressing the pipe in. Easy enough to mend

Oh see, I would prefer them where they are on the inside...let a little more of the frame SHINE!!coxylaad wrote:I would pull them out a bit so they are not recessed on the inside of the tubes.

Yeah.....Frame showing for me but not the shiny black. Maybe something that contrasts with the frame a little. Bike's coming along well mate, looking forward to seeing it finished

You need to sort those throttle cables! how long are they? Invert the cable housing or use an R6 2CO housing and have the cables exit under the handle bar, it will look neater than them stuck up in the air. By doing this they also take a shorter route and you don't need extended cables.

Eye, that's on the list along with some black brake lines. Other than that it's ok then
