Hi brock!

Good to know that you are on the road - or better not after some beer :?

But unluckily the weather ist not really nice now - today it was and the weekend was very good ... in Schwarzwald (do you really say 'Black Forest'? :? ) but at least dry in Munich.

If you have some time on your hand (and it's more or less dry) and want to take a little tour around Munich - you know my mobile phone number.

Repeatedly offered greetings from Munich!

...
... you're perfectly right, that sounds quite different - particularly

and Schwarzwald

But why for f***s sake translate a proper name :?: :?: [-X

That reminds me of a tourist asking me the way to the "Isartor gate" - while "Tor" means gate #-o

Uncomprehending greetings from Munich!

Sorry for off topic ...

Unless the tourist was Swedish and he was looking for the street (Swedish Gate) the Isartor was on...
Now with 140,000 on the clocks, X-mas tree didn't kill it & I still love it.

Hmm, don't know which nationality this tourist was but there is no Isartor street ... (the Isartor is an old city gate near the river Isar that nowadays flows through the middle of Munich).

Don't get me wrong: I try to help and understand where I can, but some things (like translating proper names) I just can not understand :?

By the way (back to topic!):

Yesterday morning I met brockzila at the BMW museum :D
(We didn't manage to meet at the Oktoberfest - we both were too busy  :? )

We had a little chin-wag about bikes (TRXes 8) ) and his further tour. Wherein brock still had little difficulties with his voice (was a little affected by the hard work on the Oktoberfest  )

Hopefully he gets home well and will tell us about his little roundtrip!

sorry but i have been un contactable due to spending far to many hours riding

i am back in the uk tomorrow night. i got to le harve a day to early so have to find a tree to sleep under as HSBC are being wankers and freezing my cards: for the second time.

ive done over 4000 km since leaving 1127 to get to munich. then the rest have been in the north of italy and south of france. amazing roads every where i go. its going to be so depressing to come back to london.

bike has runlike trooper no argueing just working its ass off. 100mph for hours on end today and it just sang the whole way. it deserves some tlc when i get it home.

will post pics upon my return to blighty

good to see all is well

brockzila.
