Hi brock!
Good to know that you are on the road - or better not after some beer

But unluckily the weather ist not really nice now - today it was and the weekend was very good ... in Schwarzwald (do you really say 'Black Forest'?
) but at least dry in Munich.
If you have some time on your hand (and it's more or less dry) and want to take a little tour around Munich - you know my mobile phone number.
Repeatedly offered greetings from Munich!

Hi Dave!

But why for f***s sake translate a proper name

That reminds me of a tourist asking me the way to the "Isartor gate" - while "Tor" means gate

Uncomprehending greetings from Munich!
PS:
@ brockzila:
Sorry for off topic ...

Unless the tourist was Swedish and he was looking for the street (Swedish Gate) the Isartor was on...HolerTogni wrote: That reminds me of a tourist asking me the way to the "Isartor gate" - while "Tor" means gate![]()

Hmm, don't know which nationality this tourist was but there is no Isartor street ... (the Isartor is an old city gate near the river Isar that nowadays flows through the middle of Munich).dfh wrote:Unless the tourist was Swedish and he was looking for the street (Swedish Gate) the Isartor was on...HolerTogni wrote: That reminds me of a tourist asking me the way to the "Isartor gate" - while "Tor" means gate![]()

Don't get me wrong: I try to help and understand where I can, but some things (like translating proper names) I just can not understand
By the way (back to topic!):
Yesterday morning I met brockzila at the BMW museum
(We didn't manage to meet at the Oktoberfest - we both were too busy
We had a little chin-wag about bikes (TRXes
Hopefully he gets home well and will tell us about his little roundtrip!

Do they have the TRX they used when they designed the F800?
Perhaps Brock could lend them his?

We had a little chin-wag about bikes (TRXes) and his further tour. Wherein brock still had little difficulties with his voice (was a little affected by the hard work on the Oktoberfest
)
Hopefully he gets home well and will tell us about his little roundtrip!
