Had the Rex on stands, on Friday, to pull off the Chain and Sprockets, nice and straightforward, something I've done about a gazillion times. And bike falls off stand and broke. Fair bit of damage to the fairing, Weekend ruined.

Geez I'm gutted. Wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been actually riding the thing at the time.
Whinge over!!

			That's a shame mate.
But take heart, good things and wild projects often start like this.

Not only did my beautiful Ducati over balance from the side stand once, I fell on top of it trying to save it.

I inflicted more damage with my fat guts.

This could be the start of something....
My Mille R fell over off its side stand outside my mate's house and crushed my new Arai helmet that I had put on the floor next to it while I went to knock on his front door. Needles to say the end result was a ruined helmet and damaged Aprilia - the weekend before I was due to trade it in against a Tuono Racing. Fortunately(!) the helmet saved the bike from too much damage. Lucky me!

Thanks fellas, I've reached stage 5 now - acceptance.
Hopefully the insurance people come to the party. I've taken the Fairing etc. to the Panel shop and the balls rolling. I took it to a place that's a bike only panel beaters in welshpool. But while that's happening I may as well get the brasso and turtle wax out and start polishing the rest, at least it will be clean

After months of crappy weather, it's warming up and the Perth bike shows on this weekend, talk about bad timing (like there's a good time).
I'll let you know how things go.
