I remember seeing here on the Goldy at the annual bike show (Gold Coast Convention Centre), there were a couple of blokes that had a stall selling LED indicator s like this...
...they then mounted these onto a MONO headphones jack like this....
...and subsequently mounted the MONO receiver (below) for this 'jack' onto the bike where the indicators would be.
What resulted was a set on indicators that were plug in/out capable - great when required to remove them for trackdays. However, pretty crap for a road-going bike - particularly when you return to your bike to discover some punk swiped them as he walked past!

Oversteer - when you hit the fence with the rear of the bike.
Horsepower - how fast you hit the fence.
Torque - how far you take the fence with you.

finished the last bits of wiring off this morning. had a bit of a nightmare with the ignition barrel wiring. I sold the tdm ignition barrel as i1 didn't need it, got an R1 front end with ignition barrel - wiring different, with less wires...
lots of testing later and I managed to sort it all out.
Anyways I got to the point several hundred soldered wires later where I thought all the wiring was done, connected the tank up threw a bit petrol in, turned the ignition on, it primed and spat petrol all over the bike and the floor. So I connected the fuel return up (derrr...) then took a leap of faith and set me phone camera videoing:
2 years later and this was the first time I had pressed the starter button. To be honest I was amazed it even turned over let alone fired up. I was planning to video all the attempts to fire the bike up, but I only need the one.
Time to start binding all the wiring up.
I am a bit concerned at how loud the bike is. its proper loud. Not sure what I am going to do if it doesn't get under the noise limits for track days. need to think about that.

lastly, the missus was massively unimpressed lol her response was 'wasnt it running before?'

haha erm this is rough list of things to do:
1. bind all the loose wires up
2. make a mounting bracket for the clocks
3. re route the throttle cables as they are in the way of the clocks.
4. finish drilling the mounting holes for the front fairing
5. fit new pads and bleed the front brakes
6. buy and fit a rear brake line
7. shorten the high pressure fuel injection pipe from the tank to the the throttle bodies as its too long
8. remake my lower mounting bracket as I have relocated the engine since the last one and now it doesnt fit
9. finish off my front seat bracket
10. finish off all the welding on the rear subframe
11. Fit an expansion header tank.
So I am more of a maybe than a definite
Also I need a set of your rearsets as my right hand foot peg mount as a massive crack in it and its bent
Got other things to add the list but that to make it road worth not track worthy.

its one of Kayla's 2 into 1 big bore systems, with the link pipe shortened down a touch, and Mivv Ghibli end can from a triumph tiger 1050, with the mount bracket cut off and a new one fitted.
A bit of a one off really. I am very concerned about how loud the bike is, it must be 105db or below otherwise its got to come off

Could you put a baffle in the link pipe, before the can? Even a perforated disc tacked in should calm it down a bit.

Honestly it sounds like it doesn't have a can on it at all! its got to be the worst silencer in the history of bad silencers

Looking good there buddy.
All the effort will be worth it in the end. But then, the build is half the fun!
If you need a new pair of standard footpeg assemblies and maybe a braided line for the back brake, I probably have both I can flog you.

Another question:
radiator expansion bottles - what have people used? I had the idea of nicking one of my littleun's bottles with the rubber travel cap on it and using that, but space is really limited.
Do I need one? I heard a rumor that said they weren't necessary, but this is going to be a track bike and it will get very hot I am sure.
I have looked on ebay but not found anything decent yet.
