Sorry Matt , but somebody's been telling you porkies ....
It's the RED ones that are the faster ones :D
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

Welcome aboard mate.
That's a nice looking bike, and with all the good extras already on it too: cans, belly pan, hugger, fender-extender.
Enjoy.

I know cheers. And a rad guard and tail tidy too :D It helped in the buying decision.

Just out of curiosity what is a rough value of one of these, (let's see if I've been done over or not) :P

Cheers matt

Aah, yes, see the rad guard now, and braided lines too.
Dunno bout your tail tidy, looks like a trimmed.standard mudguard to me.
Mucho discussion on prices in the past. I am.guessing its a 96 uk model with average mileage, less thay 30k?
Looks clean and got some bits on, would say around 1500 quid if a private purchase, maybe a shade more....

Yes it is a chopped down rear reg holder but its nice and neat :)

Well I paid 1100 squid. With 36k miles so I think I may have got a bargain for once :)

That was from a dealer too and it's got 2 brand new Michelin pilots and a service woo hoo.

Basically I went in to buy another bike but as I was looking sum1 else bought it and the trx was the guys trade in which I liked so the dealer did it me cheaper than he was going to advertise it as I missed out on other one.

As it turns out the trx is way better anyway.

I just can't get enough of the engine note ( I love it )

And the insurance is dirt cheap too. Best grand I've ever spent! [-o<

Nice bit of kit Matt, nice colour too.
Keep an eye on the oil level 'till you know how much it goes through.
Ride Well!
Cheers, Dave.
