Bit of a bummer on the caliper front. I had the Brembo discs already, and I've read that with them you don't have to chop anything to get the blue spots to fit the yzf750 forks. Well,,you do. Bugger.
I've had a play with the rear pegs. Sawed the footy peggy bit off and started to shape them. Only roughed it atm but I reckon they'll look oreet polished up. Might put a couple of blobs of solder in the craters

Looks like it will be sweet when finished.......You can get some nice aftermarket exhaust hangers, 'Kayla' on here sells them.

Should have photos here on the trimming needed to fit blue spots tp your yzf forks, Yoozy
No issue to the strength to the lowers that I've known.
Also, 98-99 R1 axles fit the yzf front as well...lighter to boot.

That looks great ! How hard was the tail to fit ? I prefer that over the r1/r6 tail.

Lots of squinting, swearing, putting on and taking off involved. Helps if you've got a welder mate with a load of patience

I did a similar thing years ago with the rear footpegs, I had a spare set i bought off someone.. mine never looked good as the originals though...

there were loads of craters in there... could you get a piece of aluminium plate welded over the top to give you a smooth finish.. just a thought ???

If you know a good ally welder, or get them welded up..

Al.

I feel like I'm getting somewhere now. Both wheels nailed on, time to start putting all the fiddly bits on. I'm hoping that top yoke is the last of the big spends now annall 8)
