I had something similar, a 1966 T100R 500 in hongkong
back in the old days (1980ish).
Flat chat at 85mph, but you needed to leave your mechanical sympathy at home cos it would scream and then smooth out at top revs

Thanks for that folks ..... yes its a tribsa b31 Bsa frame with a 650 pre unit triumph slotted in fro a bit more go 
Ive got some more engine cases and will build a 750 motor for next year
