bleeding brakes

hi all just a quick question I've read somewhere that after bleeding the brakes put a tie rap on over night with master cylinder cap of to get any remaining micro bubbles out has anybody tried this
or any other ideas much appreciated thanks j

It can help but I've never known it work miracles. I also wouldn't leave the cap for that long, the brake fluid will have a good chance of attracting lots of water..

Front or back brake by the way?

I use this method every time i have the brakes apart. Bleed out as much of the air as you can, tie back the leaver and leave over night.
I leave the cap on and leave the rubber boot out. Works for me

I use a little reverse bleeder, this pumps the fluid into the caliper nipple right up to the M/cyl . I get a hard lever within minutes!!

I used a syringe last weekend worked really well with reverse bleeding. Can't believe how easy and quick this was to get the right feel. Syringe can be bought cheap at any auto shop.

Go to a vet that deals with farm animals, I got a nice 250 ml one for free.
