Wire wheels

Hi!

Who ever made spoked wheel on TPX?
I have not found there description of the finished work.

Maybe we can install wire wheels from some bike?
Or maybe anyone can advise workshop, who can do it on order?

It wouldnt be too hard Im guessing ....... but a bit of thought needed

The back should be fairly straightforwrd using a 750 Tenere wheel and for the front Ive allready modded an xs650 hub to fit Fzr forks with only slight mods plus the Fzr discs fio straight on the xs hubs so thats a bonus

Hi Vavan, wire wheels would look nice and has been tossed about a few times here..the biggest issue would be the brake calipers impacting on the spokes...however, a set of Paul Smart Ducati front and rear ..full set up would be the biscuit..
Might get the rear to fit in with spacers.., but you would need the front forks to suit the wheel so the calipers line with the discs.

Nice Zednine,..id reackon there would be a following to wire if a decent set up was done..!
A thought to wheel flex due to the weight..?

To be honest Alex the mod is fairly pointless ..... heavier , weaker wheels ..... why ?

They do look good but only when they are clean and I dont clean my bike so ..........
