It depends how much extra lift you want . It would require a very highlift cam and skimmed head to become a problem.
I think the bike would be virtually un rideable on the road in that state of tune
1996 TRX 850, blue, Ohlins 46HRCLS, Race Tech Gold Valves, 0.90 springs, Venom pipes, R6 brakes............
1974 Yamaha RD250A, Candy Blue
1998 Yamaha SZR660, blue of course
1967 Yamaha TD1C 250, Blue and white

I got my valves a couple of days ago, that was quite quick!
They look & feel almost the same as the original ones, which is a good thing I suppose.
Can't wait to fit them and I'm looking forward to see the (different) dyno charts from other "big valvers"!
Oh and they were very well packed in.... I don't know what the stuff is called in the UK, but it was good. :)

Seen claims of 7-9hp on a IL4 so half that would be seen.
