It depends how much extra lift you want . It would require a very highlift cam and skimmed head to become a problem.
I think the bike would be virtually un rideable on the road in that state of tune

I got my valves a couple of days ago, that was quite quick!
They look & feel almost the same as the original ones, which is a good thing I suppose.
Can't wait to fit them and I'm looking forward to see the (different) dyno charts from other "big valvers"!
Oh and they were very well packed in.... I don't know what the stuff is called in the UK, but it was good.

I think it will take a while because I'm in the hospital right now with my partner and daughter, born yesterday 3 wks. early.

Seen claims of 7-9hp on a IL4 so half that would be seen.
