The pitch is 210mm and I think the distance between the discs is 6mm more than the standard TRX (ie the YZF hub is 6mm wider)

Hi Kayla it's not the pitch distance I need but the distance between the forks it should be either 160mm or 170mm. I have just bought some r1 4xv yokes and the are 10mm narrower the the yokes fitted 160mm. #-o

My YZF front end measures up to be 160mm between the fork legs at the top yoke and 142mm between outer edges of discs (Galfer). 130mm between disc inner faces. Only measured with a tape measure though, not a vernier.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dixon you can use the pitch measurement ..... just measure the inside of one fork leg hole to the outside of the other ....

Fork used are from a late FZR1000 RU 1995, which use the same wheel, disc and calliper set up as the YZF 750. The only difference I have found so far is that the FZR uses wider yokes 170mm instead of 160mm used in the YZF/R1. When I build up the forks using the R1 yokes hopefully I will be able to find out where the differences are.

How is your FZR 1000 front fork fit up going Dixon ?
You mention the FZR has the same wheel and caliper set up...but just a wider yolk..?
Much different from my YZF 750 set with the R1 calipers..?

forks look the same as the YZF750 use same wheel/discs and calipers just the yokes are 10mm wider, it would be nice to meet up with someone with the yzf forks to find out where they differ :-k
