exhaust help?
Hi, I am ratting up a trx on a limited budget and would like to put some aftermarket cans on it. Don't have much to spend unfortunately, but I saw these pipes on a bike at the wreckers. Can anyone help me identify what they are/offer any advice about whether they would be worth it? He was asking $300 for the pair. Seems to be difficult to score good aftermarket exhausts for the trx here in Aus. The previous owner told me that with staintunes the bike runs better and picks up 15bhp. True? What other good aftermarket options are there out there for the trx? Is there something out there for another bike that i can make fit? So many questions! Thanks in advance

Re: exhaust help?
15bhp from a pair of cans is rediculous on a trx. Maybe 3 to 5.
Any pair of standard race cans will fit, but you need the right link pipes from the headers to the cans. Get the link pipes then get any pair of cans the same diameter and some hanger straps if needed.
Trx does run better nd breathe better and sound better with cans.
Look at the gallery on ther for options and maybe put up a wanted post.

hiya ruin
the cans dont look too tidy i'm afraid.
there are others around . . . even Delkevics may be a better bet.
will you ask the wrecker how much he wants for the front master cylinder fluid reservoir bracket if its not mangled ?
its the wire and pressed steel bracket which holds the reservoir and provides a guide for the throttle and clutch cables.
i need one for my black bike.
please PM me if you can.
cheers

Hey Ruin where was that bike you snapped the shots of??
I happen to have some personal knowledge that they are quite unrestricted and remarkably loud.. might consider looking into them...
