Horrible noise
Was tooling along the M60 this morning at around 80mph when I heard a horrible screeching noise that I initially thought was coming from the front end......Sounded like hollow railings being swiped hard with a coin. Pulled over for a look but could see nothing amiss, back on and away we go at a more sedate 60mph,,,,,,same noise every so often so took it easy and went home. Back end up on the paddock stand and gave it a little in 1st gear,,,,,horrible noise + I realised just how knackered the chain is... Well seeing as I bought a 42 tooth sprocket recently I took the chain off and ordered one. Back wheel off and the sprocket carrier bearing fell out in bits when I removed the seal....Absolutely shredded ! Looking forward to smoother riding when new bearing and chain is fitted.

Re: Horrible noise
I often used to get a horrible screeching noise from the back,
Now I leave her at home
Now I leave her at home
there are only 3 types of people in the whole world
those who can count
and those who cannot
those who can count
and those who cannot
