So, today i went for a "are u kidding me" ride with the last setup i wanted tested.
60mm billet stacks into Keihin 41´s going into the TDM900 with wiseco high comp pistons...head job and tornado cams exiting in the akra with a 60mm MTC can. The akras stubs has been "ported" to match the head jobbie.
Think i´ve hit the sweetspot, takes off like never before and at 5k revs it flies up in the air...didn´t even had the chance to react so the tank slapped me in the chest area. In an uphill i did the longest wheelie so far.
Today was a good run!
I have the projection components big bore 2-1 (with 60mm stainless can) on sale in sweden for a week or so before offering it international.
cheers
TDX setup...

High comp pistons in the stock bores KW?
So, what can you ascertain has made the biggest difference in all the set-up`s you`ve tried?
Have you had dyno runs done in this guise?
So many questions, so many expected answers!

Re: TDX setup...
1. Yes
2. It will always be the carbs
3. It´s been dynoed with akra and blue plastic stacks
4. No, but i´m pretty sure the power delivery moved down due to these stacks...
Also, i can´t be sure mech saw i´ve ported the akra stubs to match and he might have just put them in.
Gonna do a dyno before season is over for sure!
As said, today was more fun than ever!

Re: TDX setup...
Yes very likely the longer induction has shifted the power lower down, I found my longer inlet stubs did the same, quite nice having more power lower down.
I`ll be buying some of theose velocity stacks myself I think, ferk the expense.
