Hi Al, Yeah, you're right - it is Hope St. All the old houses were knocked down in about '86 & there's a retirement village
there now. Wife's grandmother left there in 1925 - a bit before your time eh?!
No rellies living there any more but we went there to check it out for "family tree purposes".

new hangers made... and put on just a bit off fettling to do... had a run to cardiff with the baffels in and must say the old girl is running real nice... smooth pick.. a nice burble not too offensive.. did notice the tickover is slightly higher with the baffles in dunno why this is...

any ideas ?

A little extra back pressure, slightly affecting the mixture at tickover. You could try adjusting the mixture screws and throttle stop screw a tad if it`s concerning you, otherwise just leave it be.

dont bother me.... just was curious as to why... never messed with me carbs.. all should be standard... did get it dynoed a few years ago, and was pushing good bhp.... dyno tester did say was well setup with the harpoons...and fuelling was spot on... got the printout here somewhere...

just find it more convenient to have the scorps on as easy to alter for quiet / noisy days.. only takes 5 mins to do the baffles...
