carbon fibre goodie

Post by billy budge » Fri Dec 08, 2006 7:32 pm

Hello chaps
Now once upon a time on the old forum i asked about anyone knowing a carbon fibre manufacturer who did one off parts. Burty put me onto streamline carbon in oxon, who are run by mervin and are quality all round. Thing is ive always hated the front sprocket cover as it seems like an after thought and seeing as ive come into a large wedge of money from selling shares, i sent it off to see what merv could do for me.
As you will be aware formula 1 grade/spec cf aint cheap and with a one off mould it dont get better but boy is the stuff sexy!!
Now ive ordered one for me as im not bothered about the price which is £200 for cash, i know...i can hear your hearts miss a beat as you read that part but with the way my trx looks now it will be the crowning glory.
Thing is merv will keep the mould and make several more and sell them hopefully when he opens his ebay shop sometime soon but i said i would ask the lovely bunch on the forum to see if anyone was interested.
I imagine no one will be with the time of year/a bit more mental clarity than me but merv's a nice bloke and thought i would try and help him out.
So you know the price and if i can get 3 more orders then he would chuck in the 5th cover free.
Think on and let me know but i wont be offended if you tell me to go forth and multiply.

Billy
