Can I suggest that you up your reviews of consumables. You are a very lucky boy that the chain hasn't jumped or snapped - fubaring your engine cases and possibly your legs
The man speak the truth. My uncle is a paramedic on the Ambulances and showed me some pretty fooked up press photos of a biker that was picked up a few weeks back when his neglected chain snapped. The chain had peeled his lower leg open like a bloody banana with all the internals hanging out...nearly puked. :puke:

My first Skorpion threw it`s chain as I was doing around 100 mph on the M1 heading back northbound after being at Silverstone for the weekend, I had been abusing it somewhat over the weekend in Towcester doing wheelies etc and it simply cried `enough` and departed. Luckily for me it went straight out the back of the bike, sparking and snaking down the motorway!
I was a complete and utter numpty for not taking tools to readjust the chain before setting off after the abuse, I knew it was very loose but thought I would chance it.
Nowadays I ALWAYS have a toolroll with me, even a small can of chain lube, if not on the bike then in a rucky.

 +2, My GSX threw the chain up the road, straight out the back as well, fortunately was nearly home, after coming back from Mallory park.

Call me a coward but I went for a shaft drive for nearly eight years after my xs250 chain went seized the back tyre and sent me screeching through an intersection. A good 40 metres before coming to a halt in the wrong lane....
Lucky an old biker stopped and helped get chain off and did the link thing and bobs your uncle I got halfway home before it died again and I pushed her 10 km....
I didn't see you...
Cause you didn't bloody look!
