I combined my blue spot calipers with a R6 (RJ15) radial m/c utilizing ABM Peak front discs with AP Racing sinter pads.

Bear in mind M.V. Those ABM discs will likely be `grippier` than the TRX discs, it`ll be about the materials used in their manufacture.
You`ve got to go some way to beat cast iron discs but folk don`t like the rusting so it`s used less these days.
My Guzzi discs would be orange if she was out in the rain more than a few hours but within a couple of braking applications it was all removed from the braking surface again.
Saying that I did use a suitably sized drill bit in a hand brace every month or so to clear the holes in the discs as the rust and pad compound residues would start to close them up.

I've got Galfer Wave Rotors which I presume are steel (not stainless, cos they rust in the rain ), my stock rotors are well past dead!

I presume the Galfers should be a similar thing to the ABM/other AM stuff...

Had to empty my wallet some, but definitely some of the best $$$ spent on my bike in my humble opinion.

Just be very wary about buying from anywhere other than approved dealers - there are lots of moody copies that are potentialy dangerous (as in life threatening!)

Thanks for the info, good to hear from someone who's done it.

I started with Blue Spots / OEM Disks / 14 mm Axial (already good performance) then mounted the ABM disks (increased "grippiness") and finally switched to the Radial 16 mm which again improved performance and pressure control at the lever. To my mind the easiest way towards a "OEM parts - two finger brake" Would do that anytime again.

The Galfers have got a very high iron content which is why you will see surface rust. They are imho the best aftermarket daily use discs available

That's good to know Phuk, I don't really know much about them, apart from they came up for sale at a great price right when I needed new discs
