Any thoughts about the mid dip at 5,5k?
I had the acc pump locked before but had a mid dip with the 878 as well, acra? I remember when using the acra can in the beginning i experienced a surge of power at around those revs. Maybe should try Keyla´s 2-1 out....

I don't think it looks too pronounced to be a problem tbh, certainly don't think you'll notice it on the road. Maybe it would benefit from a little more air? What filtration are you using?

Using a ramair sockfilter but considering investing in a pair of BR specialtuning billet ones with meshfilter.
U R prob correct though, that i won´t feel any of it...but the dip in tourque on paper is annoying and such things should be looked into :)

Unless there is anyreason to think the airflow is restricted I wouldnt worry about that, I would have thought that for mid range you might need to adjust the needle clip position

There is far more to it than restriction of airflow & certainly shouldn't be ignored - whilst many claim that the TRX motor likes 'still' air it also likes lots of it. I've done alot of dyno work on this lately (& previously) so i know how much inlet length, filter type (if any?) & area under tank (capacity) can make up to 3 or 4 BHP difference by any one factor being incorrect. Also makes a big difference to those dips in torque too

Although it´s a full throttle run, i´ve years back seen that needle have a little effect on the main jet so i´ll prob drop it a notch and see.

Went back to dyno papers from 2008/2009 and the 5,5k dip is actually there back then also. You just can see it more obvious on his new dyno´s printouts.
Will first try lower the needle, then i do have a programmable TCIP4 and found a guy who programmed his way out of a 5k dip on a duc 900 with FCR41´s.

He's right you know.

I've also spent a small fortune on dyno time and have seen gains from changes as simple as putting a 2mm spacer under the front of the tank ;)

Had the spacers on the tankmounts for years ;)

Just a pair of brackets wich lifts the tank in the front a bit to force in some more air...made and mounted in 30min

If you lift the front of the tank there is a bracket bolted to it which in turn attatches to the frame mounts. If you remove the bracket there is a rectangular plate with 2 holes in it which sits against the anti vibration rubber. If you make another plate to the same pattern but in the thickness you want to raise the tank by & refix with the original plate still intact it will raise the front of the tank when refitted. This will in turn increase the flow of air under the tank (rather than trying to force it thru little holes in the airbox!)

Very little point doing this if you're running stock airbox of course :thumbleft:
