hello mate, have you had any thoughts about that left side engine mount?

its either going to be welding a lug onto the head, or extending the frame down to the front engine mount, which will be fugly.

I looked at that german one, couldn't see what he had done about it - if anything.

Are you having the TRX head machined to match the TDM head`s squish band Killerwhale?

Ah ok, likely the head will be machined to suit then.

I know in DE they´ve all (almost) skimmed it up to 12-ish:1 in comp anyway, aiming for that!

Yep, all the best prepared motors making good BHP figures are between 11.5 and 12.5 to 1.

sorry to labour on the point and I know you arent doing it, but do you have any information on what they do about that lack of engine mounting lug on the left of the head?

I would rather not have it welded if I could get away with it, but if I have to so be it.

I´ve only seen one TRX with TDM head and it was on a Swedish "for sale" site, sorry to say i did not see the side where there are no lug. My G U E S S though is he just let it be and fastened in only one side...

would that be safe?

I would prefer to have a lug welded onto the head if possible.
