How will the FCRs affect the streetability of the bike? I can only imagine that the 39s would be more friendly, but do even the 41s make much of a difference?
Current Rides:
2010 YZF-R1 - Stock, but still awesome.
1995 Import Spec TRX - Yoshi Pipes & Jet Kit

Not necessarily. All my tuning has been aimed at mid range not top end figures (although they are nice  ). In fact, Kent cams are shaped to boost midrange

Can't comment on diffrence between 39 and 41s as have never ridden a bike with 39s - although I would say that 41s are recommended fit and that, by virtue of size, you will make more power with 41s. There is an argument that says 39s respond better to mid range tuning .......

Not sure what you mean about the streetability of the bike. FCRs are like any carbs - they need to be properly set up to work througout the midrange (and once they are they work fine on the road).

Think there have been FCR-related posts on here comparing the dyno results - IIRC, the 39s showed no advantage in the midrange at WOT. Perhaps you might see something on part-throttle if the fuelling was that carefully set up (by a pro with a dyno, that is).
