Tick

Post by gregs656 » Thu Oct 02, 2008 5:34 pm

My engine's developed what I would describe as a tick. It's consistent with engine revs and you can easily hear it, any thoughts?

Pretty sure it wasn't there before the bike was taken off the road for about 2 months.

it does do it when you pull the clutch in, and I think it's more noticeable when the bikes warm. Sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine to me.

I'll see if I can get a sound clip, it doesn't sound particularly bad and the engine sounds and feels exactly the same other wise, it just ticks.
