Well, kinda sorta...

I was out with a couple of my Homely-Boys, after a pint of 'Old Heavy' shandy at the Vicky on Swanage seafront on the warm evening of last week, Tim the Wee Man was being boring on his new 1050 ST 'cos he can't exceed 3k for running in, so Doug on his R1200GS and me on the TRX decided to have a 4th gear roll-on competition along the Wareham bypass... I was frankly expecting to get creamed so I didn't look at the speedo, but we were absolutely neck and neck up to the point at which the Boxer started to run out of lungs at 7500rpm when my big boy sang his way to 9500rpm and sprinted off into the sunset...

If anyone can tell me what it's likely to be doing at that rpm with a 16t front I'll gladly gloat some more...

Bouncing off the limiter in 4th is about 125

yip about the same for me to 125 down the back straight at kirkistown in 4th just into fith then down the gears
