I made the frame black just because it is like that in the real life. The frame will not be sprayed (maybe in the future).
I got the colouring picture from internet, with white bodyparts and wheels, but with black engine (like Japanese models).
My engine is silver, but I used the picture anyway to decide what I wanted to do.

In my opinion the frame should be blue (if the small wedge on the fairing is blue - cannot see it clearly )

No it's black! Only white, red and black.. typical Yamaha colors! (and silver /grey for other parts like the swing, forks and the engine, of course)

... but I knew it from memory that a FZR color scheme had some blue in it (sorry for the big size foto):



And if painted similar to this, a blue frame would (in my opinion) match perfectly and would not hide the beautiful frame ...
