surf board !! great for trx's

Post by handsomejackuk » Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:43 pm

Thought I would post this one.

for the last couple of months / years I always seem to be on my knees polishing/ fettling /fixing /maintaining my bikes on my knees.

I did buy one of these kneeling pads. but still got fed up with other parts of my body on cold concrete.

THE ANSWER

found an old cheap polystyrene surf board of my sons lurking in my shed Ideal for on the ground on the knees / type back jobs. just thought i would share this with you.

happy surfing

looking 4ward 2 avebury...

Or a cheap foam camping mattress, one either side of the bike, works too :D

Strap on knee pads, like carpet layer's use are great, particularly on a concrete floor!

i also have a pile of packing pallets and a ramp that i top with a strip of ply wood that i put the bike on when working on it. cost me nothing and makes things so mush easyer as the bike is about 18" off the ground and when stiin on the bucket it is just right.
Is it Brock friendly???

An ABBA stand is a worthwhile investment if you have dodgy knees.... Or even if you don't!
