Why have I got petrol pouring out of the overflow between the carbs?

because there's too much fuel in them?

Really? =D> Why suddenly start doing it?The floats are set to 14mm, but still coming out.

passing float valve?

incorrectly measured 14mm - floats too high?

punctured float - valve not shutting off?

debris in the valve seat?

Nope, none of the above,checked everything umpteen times, float levels measured with digital vernier calipers,everything clean and as it should be?????
