Post by phuk72 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 7:34 pm

After about 6 months in pieces, my bike is back together again. And how happy am I with the overall result

Braced swing arm, coated arm and frame, painted engine, new bolts all round etc etc

Looks really good,
I was looking into nickel plating for my frame, but i think that powder coat finish looks superb.

Sounds like a couple of you "guys" know phuk a little more intimately than I'd ever want to...

But the bike looks cool. Considering the size of his leathers I can see why he opted for the girder on the swingarm!

Looks fantastic, is that blue the OEM colour?

I was quoted £200+ to do just my fairing this morning, so I'm going to have a go my self I think.

No - the OEM colour is a metallic blue and a bitch to match. That was part of the reason I painted mine this colour (Yamaha Racing blue) a few years ago
