Re: speedo drive
the speedo drive is the same for all markets regardless of speedo. it is the speedo itself that is different.

Re: speedo drive
hello mate, its been frantic trying to get it sorted.
gearbox is now sweet, shims and camchain sorted, motor is now very quiet.
got a new fairing to put on at the weekend, forks are now sorted, only needed one leg
(ta very much mate).
theres still a small scuff and dent in the tank and one seat panel in still only primed
so its 3 colours at the moment
but i can sort a respray when it gets there.
its being crated for shipping on thursday so it WILL be back in one piece for wed night.
then its another 8 to 10 weeks till i see it again

dont forget i owe you a beer or or two when you make it back.

Re: speedo drive
its cool mate. i expect you to sample a few of the local brew befor i get there. macks gold is one of my personal fav. im also very much hoping that the cider trend has made it home as im not sure how i will survive with out a ice cold magnars.
buy the paint here and chuck it in with the bike. paint back home is not cheap. (check with the kiwi biker guys on current prices)
But if i were you i would paint it yourself. We get real cheap air compressors from china. go to supercheap auto and get 60ltr compressor and tool kit for about 70-80 (170-200nzd) pounds if you wait for the sales.
will be heaps cheaper than paying some one to do it. and you will have the compressor for future incidents.
