Re: Clipons under yoke
yer you got to drill / press em out.
If you look @ my triple clamp setup, its basically under the triple clamp.

It feels REALLY low.. a touch too low for the street. Sure on the track its perfect (for me).. but long rides, it does get a bit tiring.

I never do long rides and feel like my short arms struggle when doing kneedraggin´ ...AKA inspired driving....Quan-Time wrote:yer you got to drill / press em out.

Re: Clipons under yoke
Hey guys,
I've swapped mine back and forth a few times to check that I still like the feeling, and I always decide I prefer the clipons lower. It just seems to transmit more 'feeling' from the front tyre, plus gives a more stable front end feel, plus lets you be a bit more aggresive throwing the bike around which is how I like it. On the other hand I have two other things to add with this mod to my advantage: one is I fitted rearsets (after dropping the clipons) and together they just work well, the second thing is I'm only 26 so I don't have any back/wrist problems!!
(Well I'm not going to talk about my wrist problems here anyway!
)

Re: Clipons under yoke
Clip ons under the yoke feel fine, feels more sports and puts a little or in my case alot more weight over the front wheel...
