TRX Brake/clutch levers

Post by thumpa » Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:24 am

just wondering if these levers would fit the 99 TRX? im looking for some blue levers and these would blend in nicely :)

They are for a - 99-03 R1 or a 99-04 R6

Hi!

How can you say that so easily?

On my TRX with a R1 master cylinder (14 mm) fits (ok, no surprise) a R1 lever for a 2002 R1 (with the five pitches) - and a lever in carbon style (with four pitches) made to fit the original TRX master cylinder!

A brake lever for the 1998 - 2001 R1 does not fit; the cam for operating the cylinder is too short.

So I don't know how this eBay seller can say this lever is for the R1 from 1999 until 2003 ... seemingly in Down Under the model years differ from those in Germany ...

As to the clutch lever I can say nothing.

Compared greetings from Munich!
