CHARGE SYSTEM
does anyone know what the meter reading is for the current going from the magneto to the battery. cheers BRUSH.

put the volt meter across the battery terminals rev to 3000 - 3500 rpm, from memory the voltage should be 13 to 13.5 volts.
Of course thats if you want to quickly check the charging system.
As for current i dont know.

thanks guys i think ive found the problem, ride on weekend over some rough roads, battery isnt strapped down and shook positve lead a tad loose, seems to be fine now cheers BRUSH.
