fzr400 headlight bulbs

Post by fuming » Tue Mar 25, 2008 11:57 am

I got a fzr400 headlight and want to put in some more powerful bulbs or a HID kit. Has anyone put a HID kit in one? I cant find anywhere what sort of bulbs are in them. It doesnt say on them but they have a smaller collar than h4 bulbs. Can anyone tell me what sort of bulb i need to buy to fit in?

Can't you modify the headlight in such a way that some 'standard' HID kit will fit? For example H1 bulbs, those are quite small anyway. The only thing is that you don't know the correct alignment then, but as long as you don't blind the other people on the road, it will be alright, I guess?
