Best filters for FCRs? Ramair sock?

Post by honkdawillydahonk » Sat Jan 26, 2008 7:57 pm

Thinking about junking the (modified airbox) and fitting Ramair socks or similar.... Is this the best option? Anyone know the correct part number / cheapest supplier? Thanks.

Honk this was from max when I was chasing a filter. The number is MS-009 and it came as a set of 2 , cost 37.00 GBP + 10.46 VAT .

Here's a link to RamAir's site, you'll have to go to the motorbike section and look up the filter

Honk,

I got Ramair pod filters, one on each carb, as above. Ramair seem to be as good as any on price etc.

Sock filters work just as well (one filter with two holes to pull over the carb inlets) and can be put on the standard blue velocity stacks.

If you need different spiggots to attach the filters, if you go for two pods, go to Allens performance in Nottingham.

Dave.
