Do any other yamaha's use same rear brake caliper??

Post by davesta » Mon Nov 12, 2007 1:57 am

Hey everyone, my rear caliper is dragging a little, so i'm gonna go over it, and put some new piston seals in it. I'm just wondering if any other yamaha rear calipers are the same as the TRX. That way i can order the seals from the US, i'm waiting for a price from my local dealer, but if its anything like the price for seals for my r1 goldspots (around 180 aussies for a seal kit!) i'll be better of getting them from yankee land. thanx in advance everyone

They're quite cheap.

http://shop.wemoto.com/index.dyn these people do them for £8 per side.

Thats great, thanks for that mate. Just from looking at the parts diagrams at bikebandit.com it looks like half the trx was made from old fzr and yzf parts. I'm not complaining, makes it much easier to find stuff. Thanks again 8)
