:? Hmmm.... start at £1200 and haggle hard, remember that it has had no upgrades, or after market equipment bought for it.

Probably means he'll take £1450. Start at £1200 then as said.

:D What about that one that Martin found in MCN, Was it £1450 and had the brakes already done, saving of about £70 on the first upgrade.

I hope the paint on the bike is more original than the paint on the car.....

Just wondering if the mileage is genuine. :?

11000 miles.................................(on that speedo)

Bum pads are prone to wearing out fast.

Pete,

The black one on ebay is in Leicester and so am I, or close by anway.

Dunno where you are but if you were going to go look at this one and wanted some company from someone who knows a little about these bikes, give me a shout.

Dave.

Dave.

I have spoken to the guy. Seems genuine enough but I can't help thinking that the mileage is a bit iffy. I guess if I got an in the flesh view I could probably get a better understanding

I am in Bristol. So its a 260+ mile round trip for me.

The bikes in Tilton on the hill. Is looks exactly what I am after.

If it's not a million miles away from you, I wouldn't mind an independant view of the bike from somebody who knows what they are looking at. Based on your judgement I could then decide to make the trip or not.

A bid cheeky I know but it could save me a load of hassle.

I am sure there may be a few beer token involved.

Thanks

Pete

Bum pads do wear quickly and it might be that one of the owners had a huge arse and was prone to moving about a lot?

Other checks to make are on footrest rubbers and handlebar grips - they often give a more accurate idea

Pete,
That black bike on ebay is only a half hour from me BUT I'm away this weekend from Friday eve, back monday so couldn't get there til monday eve at the earliest and that might be pushing it. Bidding ends Tues which leaves it tight for you to get there and view if I thought it was OK. So, have to leave it with you on this one: I see someone's bid.
