Hi to everybody, newbie here from the UK
I have been on the look out for a TRX for some time now. I may of found one that I am considering purchasing. Just wanted to check the going rate.
The bike is as follows.
1997 P reg
15000 miles
Black
Belly pan
Ex Condition
Standard trim.
Recent rear tyre, battery
6 months tax
10 months MOT
Service history.
What sort of figure should I be paying. I will try and post pics once I get them
Thanks in advance

Let's see the pics. How much is it worth to you?

Haven't got any pics yet.
Going by the market at present and the bike price guides. I reckon 1350 tops?

If it's genuine 15k miles with service history and it's excellent condition then I'd say up to £1700. If you can get it for £1350 then it's a steal.
Remember, excellent condition to one man is a total shitter to another.

Mate,
I'd suggest £1200 to £1500 on what you describe and if its a private sale.

Yeah reserve of 1750 is quite reasonable, i would get rid of the tyre paint though. That's just nit picking.

1600 is a bit on the high side, but there is no reserve on the auction, so it may be worth viewing and then sniping a bid at the last minute. Or wait for it to be relisted with a lower start price!
From the pictures it looks very tidy.

Or going round with £1450 in cash and waving it in his face (whilst reminding him that he will save final value fees and the hassle of having other people round, the possibility of some cnut from Nigeria bidding etc. etc.)

Get it as cheap as you can because reading this site can seriously damage your wallet. You will want to change the cans and the brakes for a start.

Top tip Dave!
Looks ok in the pics. See it in the flesh. Originally painted fairing will have a matt black finish on the inside.
