That looks awesome. You have done a fantastic job with that bike.
I would love to see all the befuddled looks on other riders faces when they are trying to work out what the bloody hell sort of bike you are riding.

Nice outcome

but it does give me a 'twink'...
because the front really looks like an R1 but it isn't. So it's hard to see the TRX 'in front'.

But still nice result also with the the swingarm

CUlater: the original 190 rear tyre is not usable, also using the 180 it fits just..maybe 1mm free space between the tyre and swingarm. My chain line is bit different

Tommy T: Small world, I think i've seen writings from a third Finn also...
been reading the forum for quite a while, already on the previous forum..

Before I bought the TRX on 2004 I saw (AND HEARD) one first time few years before near Tampere, I think that was the moment when I not knowing it then, became a TRX-er about 3 years later.. That time I had GSX-F 600, then couple of summers with R6 -99. Nowdays there are quite many TRX's for sell here in Finland, althougt it's very rare bike on the road, not seen many on the action..

WoTi Could you give me your thoughts on the trx vers the r6. I was thinking about an r6 or trx but eventually got a trx before I got a chance to test ride an r6. Thanks mate DOBBO.

Woti,

What i had to do to bring the chain in line was, i had to put the sprocket
to the back of the sprocketholder and use sunken bolts to fasten the sprocket.
The TRX frame is a little wider than a TDM frame, so don't know if this works for you also.

My 180 also only has about 1 mm. clearance, the chain rubs against the tyre now and then.

DOBBO: Well, I kinda liked a lot also about the R6. Nice to ride on curly roads, kind of a good mid-range as being only a 600cc. And the top power is enough for most riders, lifts the front wheel with 1st gear nicely...
My daily work route is pretty straight 30km, with a good bit of 70km/h limit, for that purpose the R6 is really not so good. Wrist and neck are being heavily loaded..
Still now the TRX riding position is closer to R6.. If the small lack of top-end power is not counted, the TRX is very good for all kind of driving,
handles smoothly also on gravel roads as it's pretty light..

CUlater: Have you modded the rear axle bearing, as you have room for the sprocket between the arm and the holder.. My rear axle is as it has been on the Triumph. I have only modded the Swingarm axle bearing area.. Maybe the motor on TDM is positioned differently and the chain line is bit different
