ok, went to start the trx today, used full choke and fired up straight away. left it to idle for a few minutes, and then blipped the throttle, it popped and almost cut out, it did this every time i touched the throttle, finally cutting out for good.
now wont start.
turns over and has one attempt at starting (bit of a pop) then just continues to turn over.
any suggestions?

Prime setting on the fuel tap. Runs under gravity. Doesn't need the pump. If it runs on prime then the pump could be goosed.

also, if it runs one prime (PR) you could have a kinked vacuum hose to the pump)
or it may have ran out of fuel!

charged battery over night, moved all the pipes coming off and around the carb to un-kink any, hit the start button....bit of a cough and splutter first of all, and finally comes back to life!!!
a bit odd, but all seems well now.
