Nice video.... how did you mount the camera? Maybe next time mount it a bit higher so we see less of the clocks and more of the road.

Its interesting to see the view from the "wrong" side of the road.. was not a big thing untill the round-about at the end, that was a head spin.

I havent ridden in southern Germany for a good 12 to 15 years. I had forgotten how smooth the roads were.

When you came up behind the bike with the rider in the red jacket I shifted forward in my seat, hunched over the keyboard and started planning my overtake... but it never came. :(

Anybody else have the same experience? Not sure if it says more about German civic behaviour or my competative road attitude...

:D Was also looking at overtake. If you think that was bad, go on YouTube and look for Mathijs run around Oschersleben on a track day,(search trx 850), will get you leaning and twisting the throttle.

Good find slow codger.... Blown too much of my monthly bandwidth watching video already....

Its interesting watching Mathijs video for how much faster he is mid corner than a lot of the bikes on the video, even his mate on the other TRX and especially the goose on the cbr600rr.

Its even more interesting how he looses out by revving his TRX too high. A couple of times he passes his TRX riding mate on the way out of a corner only to be repassed as he revs well into the red. I think its safe to assume from the similar top speeds the two Rexes are on the same gearing and are stock apart from the slip-ons.

So there is the answer. No need to worry about the rev limiter, just run a stock Rex between 5 to 7,500 rpm for maximum performance.

Nice vid! Only one comment, as earlier posted, maybe you can mount it a bit higher next time, so we see less of the clocks and more of the road.
