Has anyone thought of this? Fuel injection system from a TDM900? Would it fit? Would it be feasible? (BTW Bike's in at Bikebiz today getting a new front hoop and the emulsion kit put in - haven't heard anything yet, that's always a good sign)

Also are there places where you can learn to weld your own exhaust systems. That's something I'd like to learn.

The fuel in jection has been discussed elsewhere on the forum, I'm to lazy to search for you, though it did pop up recently.

You could go to TAFE to do a welding course, something I have been thinking of doing.

If you know someone with a mig welder or a tig go and have a go. Use thin metal to start with that way you will be better when using thicker. Start by using 1mm metal.

tell me what style / sort of welding you want to do, and ill write a tutorial with pics.. as im a qualified welder, and have a welder here (yes i hold a cert in MIG, ARC and high tensile ARC (such as lifting lugs, etc).. i can TIG altho i dont have a proper ticket for it..

Currently im an A-Class machinist (toolmaker) and make cool shit when i get the time.. usually i make boring crap for work

What sort of welding you want ? stuff like "how to weld exhaust tube" or "how to make a new subframe" ?? ill make somethin up tomorrow since im gonna be out there.
