to make a long story short, I am re-building the engine. Bike is in one garage, engine nearby a workshop a fair distance away. Been going back and forth with parts and tools in the car. Naturally some punks broke into the car and sweeped it, so I lost my crank, all my tools plus some other parts. The last part is the worse, as I am realising parts are missing first when I am re-assembling the engine. So far I have ordered two oil pumps plus a lot of bolts and nuts. Yesterday I realised another part was missing, and the local Yamaha dealer didn't manage to find it in the spareparts microfiches, so I couldn't even order it. But it's clearly visible in the Yamaha workshop manual.
The part I am missing is nr 2 in the pic below. In reality it is not placed as in the picture, it sits on the bearing where the "E" in the upper left corner, i.e. clutch side of the outgoing shaft. The circlip to the left of that bearing has not been there, but we managed to find this in the spares fiche, so I am about to order that one, but I am not sure if it is the right one.

Below is another pic from the workshop manual, indicating where the circlip belongs.

And this final pic clearly displays it is a "half" of a circlip, and it is exactly the one that's missing.

If anyone has a spare engine in bits and pieces, and could imagine to sell this part and send it as fast as possible, so that I can put my engine together this week, I will pay ludicrous money for it
Cheers,
Hans
