Re: Hi.
First of all, they where made from 95 - 00....so i wouldn´t advertise it as a 2002!Donkey Oaty wrote:Hi
I am the proud owner of a TRX, but recently have been thinking about selling it on. Im trying to get a feel of what price it will fetch.
Its 2002 model ( 02 plate ) . Was one of the last to be sold in the UK. It is Mint, Immac , Nearly Showroom Condition with 15k miles on the clock. Oil change every 2000 miles and serviced to the hilt.
It's never ever seen rain in its lifetime.
It has custom made Carbon Exhausts including link pipes that I had bent on a mandrel bender to my spec, plus brand new Original pipes used for MOTs , Belly Pan & rear hugger.
Now the neg stuff. A car pulled out on me and put a hair line crack in the fairing which I have repaired, but a crack is a crack ( as the actress said to the bishop )
It's either sell as a complete bike or break it. I am in no hurry for money and have the space to keep & sell the parts over a long period.
What better place to ask then fellow TRX people !
Sorry for barging in![]()

In truth, I reckon you'll get more for it as the bike (but sell the cans, hugger and belly pan seperatly).
TRX bits do not fetch high prices and most are bloody heavy / bulky which makes posting very hard. Engine will probably make £500 plus but that's the only real big value item.
I've broken a bike so in the last 4 months so know what bits are selling for (PM me if you want more info)

Re: Hi.
You must be a very proud owner ... not hesitating to break your bike apart - particularly a bike in such a condition (provided that's true).Donkey Oaty wrote: ...

But do as you like - it's your bike (alas!).
Uncomprehending greetings from Munich.
