Holy cow! You sure don't want your windscreen falling off, do you?

Eh? What's up with it? You've got to remember that I've only had the bike a short time and it's my first TRX. What I see on this bike I assume is standard for all TRX's.

Just the non-standard bolts on the windscreen look HUGE in the picture, that's all. Maybe the previous owner broke his standard plastic ones and replaced them (and the rubber grommet nuts) with bolts the same size as the holes.

Now you mention it I see you are right! All my other bikes have had screens mounted with little plastic bolts. I just never really took it in on this bike! haha. Must have been to busy enjoying the ride.:) I'll get 'em replaced for something a little more subtle.

The stockers are little rubber grommet nuts that fit through the screen with plastic screws (and I think a couple that actually have steel nuts, been a while since I've had mine off), hence the large holes. I think the idea is that in a minor crash, the screws are supposed to break before the screen, cowl or both. They do get brittle in the sun and require replacement after a while. I always keep a few spares around.

Given the high standard of gutter humour on this forum, i thought i'd get in first with the shameless double-entendre \:D/
