Throttle cables?

I need to raise the handle bars on my TRX and I may need longer throttle cables.Can anyone tell me if TDM850 ones will fit, Yamaha list 2 part numbers,one before the 1999 MY and one after.Just which one fits is the problem-any ideas?

Can't see why they wouldn't fit - the pre '99 carbs are identical to the TRX. The post '99 had different carbs but I can't see the reason why the cables wouldn't be suitable

you might find someone on here has a set of YZF750 ones which might work, they are pretty much identical to the TRX ones but a little bit longer

Post 99 they changed the carbies on the Tdm 850.
Don't know if the throttle action set up is different on the carby though.
They are still a Mikuni 38mm CV down draught carb but not exactly the same as the Trx carby.
