exhaust cans

Post by frankyboy » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:06 pm

Has anyone tried DELKEVIC carbon cans, thinking of getting a set, look good and great price, but just wondered if anyone has a set, and can recommend them.

My brother-in-law has them on his VFR-800. They fit up exactly, no messing around. They sound good, nice note but not too loud considering you can fit a tennis ball into the end of the cans.

Thanks Dicky..... always nice to know of someone who has had them, and had no problems with them.

I've got the Delkevic DS70 Oval Carbon Fibre 225mm cans.

I'd taken this video on last year's Simon Andrew's tribute lap. It may give you some idea of the sound.

Reason: tinkered with by dicky to fix photo and video link. Facebook sucks.

Thanks for the link Stu, and the re-link ekoja, nice sounding cans Stu, although i will be going for the 350-450 length carbon one's.
Where did you get the silver bezel around the speedo and also the white dial on the speedo as well, give the clock a nice look.

The clock surrounds were supplied by another forum member. I can't remember his nickname.
He's a member on the TRX Owner's Facebook page, his name is Torsten Thimm.

Enjoy your Delkevics! :D

Got a set on my TRX and they are a top bit of kit. Fitted up well and I use the baffles on dayshift (0430 start quiet for the neighbors) and take them out all other times, sound and look great.

Cheers Paul.
