Huggers?
Guys, I need your help - is there any other model of bike that a hugger from will fit the TRX? All I can find for the TRX is ones from Skidmarx and Pyramid that are over £80.....

Re: Huggers?
I suspect that one for a pre-2000 FZS 600 Fazer would fit. Can't say for sure though.
The swingarm looks identical apart from the adjusters.
The chain guard is the same part number as for the TRX and huggers attach to the chain guard mounting points.

Re: Huggers?
Cheers mate, you're a star - £80 for a hugger seems ridiculous really, I'll see if I can find one for a Fazer cheaper.Excalibre wrote:I suspect that one for a pre-2000 FZS 600 Fazer would fit. Can't say for sure though.

Re: Huggers?
Many thanks mate, found an excellent FZS600 one (Pyramid) on Ebay for £30, looks good and will let you know how it fits.Excalibre wrote:I suspect that one for a pre-2000 FZS 600 Fazer would fit. Can't say for sure though.

Re: Huggers?
Hi mate,
Yes, the Fazer hugger fits - made a small bracket for the disc side but it wasn't far off. Success!

Re: Huggers?
Do you think there is enough clearance ( width ) to fit a 180 tyre with the hugger????
I'm thinkin about chopping the rear guard and following the lines of the frame and rear tail and tucking the indicators right up close to the base of the tail light so a hugger will be needed.

Re: Huggers?
Doubt it mate to be honest, mine has a 160 which is okay but there ain't enough clearance for a 180 I reckon. Get a cheap one, try it then get your money back on eBay if it don't.
