At last.........got the forks back after being serviced with new oil and seals, and now had the time to put it all back together with the new yokes and carbon front fender. Really pleased with the way its turned out and thanks Kev44 for the gold spots........

I don't see why as you don't have mirrors to see them once you've blasted them away

Hi all
I have hit a bit of a sticky point, after taking the bottom end apart I found this........
Anyone have a spare crank?

Hmm. Like the box in the background says... "ouch".
What caused it?

Not sure.....
It's off a spare engine I picked up for peanuts.
I am salvaging what I can, repairing if possible and replacing what's needed. Think this is a replacement!!!!!

Had my first real ride out at the weeknd. (God I love this bike) 150mile trip hassle and drama free, until 2miles from home, plodding on the dual carriageway (70mphish)....... when a mawhossive pheasant decides to try and fly through my headlight and half the fairing....... SPLAT! SMASH! followed by an almighty WOBBLE!. so after the pooing myself finished, I said a prayer for the him and assessed the carnage, and two days before the MOT due it was not looking good

Ouch! That's not good to hear.
Must be a bit like us having to doge the occasional suicidal 'roo.
Hope you get it all sorted quickly.
