Just passed 225,000km
Bike still runs like a charm, doesn't burn much oil,(no top-ups between oil changes) still gets 400+km to a tank. Wish it had a better gearbox...

Re: Just passed 225,000km
Hi brenyw!
Congrats to this milage!
How many of these k's have you done by yourself?
I'm also not afraid (and a little proud
) of high milage:
My BMW 325i (1986 model) has 345.000 km on the clock (bought 1996 with 145.000 something)
CX 500 Euro (1982 model) only 110.000 km (maybe still needs running in a bit
; bought with about 42.000 in the beginning of the 90s)
And my TRX (96 model) with only 96.000 km, bought 2005 with about 47.000 km.
I wish you and your TRX some more 200.000 km!
(D)Ri(v/d)ing greets from Munich!

Re: Just passed 225,000km
Bought the bike with 16,000km in 2001 so done 210,000km myself.
No rebuilds of anything, the only thing major was the timing chain and tappet adjustment at 126000km.
Done 1 set of discs, broken 2 speedo cables and 2 clutch cables (just replaced the clutch cable, my advice is get a spare just in case)
I think the rear shock has become a bit floaty.

That's a pretty good testament on behalf of the TRX..

2/3 Rd's to the moon.. Further than Richard Branson got

MMM

maybe the Virgin flight used a wet sump and they just don't know how to check oil levels
