BTW, the engine warms up insanely fast. Like, in minutes. Would it be wise to put in a bigger main pilot, just to be sure? I have #165 now, but have #180 laying around. Mikuni TDMR40's.

When i had 878 i just would not go into town with red lights & traffic. I think you had samco´s? That lowered my temp in 900 engine a bit.
Go dyno it to spot on instead of guessing

After some messing around with the banjo bolts, the oil light doesn't flicker anymore, hooray!
The bolts I used had bigger holes and had the holes on two sides. The original ones has smaller holes and only at one side. Apperently, this makes a significant difference

Killerwhale, do you mean a ramair foam airfilter? Already have that fitted, I don't like to get everything from bugs to sand get into the engine.

The temp doesn't get beyond 70 if I keep driving, so maybe it is not that bad.

Today was an important day: On the Dyno!

Blue line is from a couple of years ago, Mikuni TDMR flatslides with bellmouths and Akra headers, standard engine.
It was a tad rich back then, I fitted a smaller main jet but never made it back to the dyno. The bike ran very smooth though.
Green line is from today, also TDMR and Akra of course but also: Carrillo conrods, JE pistons, Sanddune valves, ported head, Kent cams and TCIP4 Ignitech unit. I removed the dB-killer for the run.
I also saw 98,99 bhp on the screen but for some reason this value didn't make it to the printed graph.
I am very happy with this result! But it got even better. I had to fuel it up on the way back to home. It did 22 km/ltr (51,7 mpg) and that is including the dynorun! I love this bike!
